LOCKHESSEN’s Technology R&D Department will analyze and report your samples submitted for inspection within 24 hours upon receipt to ensure that the product meets specifications.

The fluid inspection helps:

  • Reduce the downtime of vehicles
  • Judge whether the refueling is excessive.
  • Reduce unnecessary engine oil change
  • Extend the oil discharge cycle- reducing the costs of lubricating oil and generation of waste oil.
  • Determine the defects and contamination of supplied fuel.
  • Carry out the separate analysis in the warranty case to determine the root causes of failure.

Analysis types:

1:Lubrication system: The contamination shall be tested, the applicability of lubricating oil shall be checked, metal wear shall be monitored, and root causes of the problem shall be determined before the failure is caused. The monitored systems include emergency engine, scraping system, tail pipe, bow thruster, crane hydraulic system, control thread pitch propeller, remote control valve and hot oil.

2:Fuel System: All fuels conforming to all specifications as described in ISO 8217 shall be tested by a variety of custom test kits. The water, microbes, and contaminated bulk storage tanks on site shall be checked.

3:OWS system—Ensuring the ship drainage conforms to local and international specifications.

4:Cooling system – The antifreezing solution not only prevents the freezing of the cooling system, but also plays an important role in engine cooling. If your engine oil does not endure long enough, or if the engine is getting hot, then check the cooling liquid state before startup.
